The Management Trust – February Newsletter

The Management Trust is now working with Steve Dawson!

Steve Dawson is a multi- award winning Producer/Engineer and musician, complete with countless Juno’s, WCMA’s, Canadian Folk Music Awards and more. Having produced over 40 projects, it is safe to say Dawson has risen to prominence in the Canadian and international music scene and continues to push his abilities to create exciting and original sounding recordings.

Steve’s recent projects include: Kelly Joe Phelps, Jim Byrnes, Old Man Luedecke, The Deep Dark Woods, John Hammond, Bruce Cockburn, Ndidi Onukwulu and Jenny Whiteley, and many more.

Needless to say, we are very honoured to have him join The Management Trust roster!!

Moe Berg

In recent years, Moe has chosen to invest his time with upcoming bands in the indie world, focusing on development of both the artist and sound. He has been hard at work, developing and producing upcoming artist Nikki Whitehead. In addition, he is now working with Big Tobacco!

Terry Brown

Amongst the various projects Terry has on the go, he recently mixed the Panama based group: Senor Loop - set out be released early this year. Blurred Vision, Josh Taerk are also amongst the projects Terry has on the go - both of which are making waves overseas!

Adrian Carr

Adrian Carr at AC Mastering brings you the best value in professional mastering! A master of his craft, Adrian is a Grammy nominated Mastering Engineer, trained by none other than Vlado Meller and is we're lucky enough to have him based in Canada's most eclectic city of Montreal.

Laurence Currie

Its safe to say Laurence Currie is one of the busiest Producer/Engineer's in today's indie music scene. He is constant demand to produce and/or engineer bands from all over the country. Now working with Eagleson, Fevers and a collection of others, Laurence has only begun 2013!

Marvin Dolgay

After years of perfecting his studio, Marvin is finally ready to introduce his space to the world of music. Ready to captivate bands in the best light possible, Marvin's space is perfect for a band wanting both an intimate and professional feel, while developing a unique and captivating live show. Marvin's Live Musical Direction is an asset to any artist or band in today's industry.

Maks Gabriel

Since being honored in the US at the Billboard Magazines World Songwriting Event and receiving a top ten Songwriting award in Nashville’s Music City Songwriting Competition, Maks has taken his experience to the Canadian music scene and has been very successful at delivering songs and productions to many popular Canadian artists in all sorts of styles - pop, country, electronic, rock, classical, fusion.

Me&John

Me&John have had the privilege of composing the score of one of the biggest buzz movies of 2013 - The Canyons!

Written by Bret Easten Ellis, directed by Paul Schrader, and starring Lindsay Lohan and James Deen, the pair teamed up with Broken Social Scene's Brendan Canning to create a score that lives up to the reputations of the 3 taste makers. The soundtrack will be available soon!

Russell Broom

2012 marked a big year for Russell Broom! Winning 2 WCMA's for Producer and Engineer of the Year!
Now working with various artists across the country and dabbling in the film world, Russell is ready to make 2013 the biggest year yet!

RyanDan

2012 marked a HUGE year for RyanDan! In case you haven't already heard, RyanDan are performing on stage with the biggest selling female artist of all time - Shania Twain! Receiving rave reviews across the board, you can find Shania Twain and RyanDan at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas!
When not performing, RyanDan are hard at work producing and writing with come of Canada's biggest pop/dance acts!
